I decided to try this for breakfast because I've never never heard of it and wanted to try something new. It was a little busy and the cashier or counter person got my coffee. She was very friendly. I ordered eggs, crispy bacon , hashbrowns with sausage gravy. The sausage gravy was cold ( she warmed it up but it was still cold ) the bacon was rubbery and my second piece of toast was burnt. The server wasn't nice at all from beginning to end. I don't know if she was having a bad day or I did something but overall not a great experience. I’m thinking bad day because of the medical boot and having to work. I watched 3 tables get their food that I know were sat after me and when I finally saw the server with my food she stood and talked with another server for like a minute with it in her hands. At the end of my meal the counter person asked me how everything was and I told her it wasn't the greatest. She encouraged me to tell the server and she overheard. The server was like "what's wrong?" In a very unfriendly tone and when I tried to explain it she was like "just go. Just go it's fine" and I'll be honest her nasty tone had me thinking I did something wrong. It was a terrible terrible experience which was surprising because I looked at the reviews before deciding where to get breakfast and they were good. I hope my experience was just a fluke.
We went to Jane’s based on the reviews. We had never been there before. It was not very busy when we went which was about 9:30. We didn’t wait very long to be seated or for service. I ordered eggs Benedict, which was good, not spectacular. My friend ordered biscuits and sausage gravy. She only ate a little bit of the biscuit, but the sausage gravy was extremely floury. The waitress had the cook, taste it, and she said it was indeed floury. While she did offer to bring something different, I was already done eating so my friend declined . There was no apology, or offer to take meal off the bill. It was a disappointing experience.
My husband & I had breakfast today, Sunday, after Church @ Jane! They were so busy, however; we were waited on promptly & our food was served quickly & it was delicious! I had the Eggs Benedict, it was great! Went to Samantha's on Portage last week & today's breakfast was so far superior to Samantha's! We highly recommend Jane's!
April 1 2023 in North canton. I just happened to be hungry and stumbled across this place thanks to Google. Place is nice. Mom and pops feel. Service was great. Food was tasty... if I'm in the area I'll come back again. Note ((( it's cash only here no credit card ))) prices were good. Portions were decent. Specials change daily.
